The investigators found in a review article of a total of 124 studies, that comorbidities, like hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, cancer and acute cardiac injury are closely associated with poor prognosis in COVID-19 patients.
